Fractional

Small to mid-sized organizations might not require a full-time marketing executive or they can't justify the expense. On the flip-side, a full-time junior marketer often lacks the experience to take your business to the next level. That's why fractional marketing services can be such a great alternative. Fractional is just like it sounds, you are getting a fraction of someone's time on a recurring basis. As such, fractional hires can operate as an extension of the team, contributing to strategic project work and/or expanding bandwidth across a variety of on-going initiatives. Hours typically range from 5 - 20 hours a week, which can be an attractive option to get executive experience without the commitment of an internal hire which usually includes full-time salary, bonus, vacation and other benefits. 

Project

When you have a more focused objective for marketing resources and it is finite in nature, project work might be the best option. There's lots of flex here to tailor the project scope and support to align with your objectives. Here are a few examples that might fit the bill, though we can discuss many other variations.

Advising

Recurring consultations to support the business and give advice on elevating the marketing discipline and driving growth. Maybe there are some junior employees that can do some the executing, but figuring out what to do and where to invest, might be outside of their comfort-level. Examples could be diagnosing the marketing situation, assessing current tactics, asking probing questions and weighing options out. Other ideas could be, suggesting frameworks to getting clearer on your business or steps to tightening your brand, positioning, content, sales enablement activities and more.
